Worship, Music, And The Arts
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. Our worship band lead us in a variety of worship music, hymns from the past as well as the new modern contemporary Christian music. Many of the songs may be familiar to you if you listen to KLOVE (90.1 FM) on the radio. Everyone worships in his or her own unique way – for many, that means singing and clapping along, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You’re welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Occasionally, our hearts are blessed by our Teen Drama team performing dramatic skits that are sure to move you.

Offering
Each week, South Side receives an offering. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our members, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives South Side the means to reach more people for Christ. During the service, you’ll be asked to fill out a Visitors Card, conveniently located on your bulletin and drop it in the offering plate as it passes. This simply helps us connect with you and begin a dialogue that we trust will help you in connecting with South Side Baptist Church.

The Message (Sermon)
Every Sunday, you’ll hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.

Communion
We’ll frequently celebrate communion together during our Sunday Night services. We practice Closed Communion and is a time of reflection and prayer for our members. The juice and bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.

That service was AWESOME! Now what can you expect? Let’s see…
